Properties and Applications of Ayous
Ayous is an African Softwood known for its light weight and easy workability, making it ideal for interior applications such as fine carpentry, decorative panels, and even speaker enclosures due to its sound-insulating properties. Thanks to its uniform texture, Ayous absorbs finishes like paints and varnishes very well, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing surface. In our timber trade, Ayous is valued for these qualities and is a favorite for both commercial and residential projects. Through our sustainable wood exports, we offer environmentally responsible timber options to customers worldwide. Thermo Ayous is a perfect alternative to Accoya. Ayous is widely available with FCS or OLB certificate.
